Our roller garage doors have undergone a makeover. Instead of carrying the Aluroll logo and blue theme like our security shutters, they now have their own SecureRoll branding, complete with a new logo and a modern yellow and grey colour scheme.

We recently asked roller garage door installers why they choose Aluroll over other suppliers in the marketplace. The main reason given was ‘Convenience of Install’, at 42%. When asked what made our roller garage doors so much better, the overwhelming reason given was related to our handsets and safety edge being pre-programmed. 

In our June newsletter we announced two new colours, Chartwell Green (NCS S 3010 G10Y) and Duck Egg Blue (NCS S 2030 B10G), and they’re already proving to be very popular choices.

Aluroll security shutters have been used on an exciting project recently. Wolverhampton market has been rejuvenated, bringing all of the stalls from indoors to outdoors, using purpose-built cabins made from brightly coloured shipping containers. The finished project was a unique way of adding security to a situation which often has very low security levels.

Last month we announced that we’re matching the box and guides to our standard colour Classic roller garage doors. We’ve had a great response to this change, so we’ve extended this feature to our Compact doors too. This way you'll be able to offer customers an even better product than before, for no extra cost.

Feedback from our customers suggests Chartwell Green and Duck Egg Blue are becoming increasingly popular in the home improvement market. As a result, we've added them to our standard roller garage door colour range.

We’ve been really busy lately, trying to get everything in place so we could offer our matching garage door boxes and guides as soon as possible. While this big announcement has dominated conversations here at Aluroll, we’ve still managed to keep one eye on what’s going on around us...

We always talk about the importance of quality products, careful installation and regular maintenance. And this month we spotted a scary reminder of what can go wrong if these procedures aren’t followed.

We’re dedicated to offering competitive prices for our garage doors and shutters, and that extends to our extras too. We have just reduced our wood laminate prices from a 20% surcharge to a 15% surcharge. The special finish is suitable for internal face fitted garage doors (Classic, Compact and Elite), and their security counterparts, the T77 and T55 shutters.

Here at Aluroll we like to use data to gain a better understanding of the roller garage door market. Long term analysis has shown that while white is still our most popular door colour, at 32%, and black is still our second most popular, at 16%, the trend is actually shifting away from  traditional monochrome choices.

We’re the UK’s exclusive distributor of the Eurolook® shutter, a brick formation transparent armour made from polycarbonate links. Our history of working with Dutch company stretches back six years and the product is proving more popular than ever before. An increased awareness has led to a high number of architects and organisations specifying the design. 

Our West African base, Aluroll Nigeria, has manufactured shutters for the region’s most prestigious projects. Local access control experts Base Concepts & Designs recently completed work on two major developments in capital city Lagos; warehouses on a port complex and a new 80,000m2 leisure development called FairAcres. They chose Aluroll Nigeria’s shutters for both.

Aluroll is launching a new feature on all roller garage doors. The SELVE burglar-proof fixation will replace the current anti-lift locking straps. The devices prevent intruders from gaining access by lifting the curtain from below.
